MATCH #1: “THE ONE AND ONLY” RICOCHET v/s “THE MAVERICK” LOGAN PAUL
It’s time for our first match and it’s a singles match scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the squared circle first – “THE MAVERICK” LOGAN PAUL!

At ringside, Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcomes us to WWE SummerSlam’23.
Back inside the ring, Logan Paul is awaiting his opponent. It’s now time for the entrance and introduction of his opponent. Making his way to the squared circle – “THE ONE AND ONLY” RICOCHET! Graves notes that Ricochet’s fiancé, Samantha Irvin, is wearing yellow – the same color that Paul is wearing.
Cole informs us that as a partner of WWE SummerSlam’23, Rocket Mortgage will donate to Connect 313 to bridge the digital divide every time a WWE Superstar goes off the top rope.
The bell rings to officially begin this one-on-one match between “The One and Only” Ricochet against “The Maverick” Logan Paul. This match ends when one of Paul’s lackeys, sneaks over to ringside when the referee’s back is turned, and hands Paul a pair of brass knuckles. Paul then punches Ricochet before pinning him to win this match.

MAIN EVENT #1: “THE AMERICAN NIGHTMARE” CODY RHODES v/s “THE BEAST INCARNATE” BROCK LESNAR
It’s now time for the first of four main events! The following match is a singles match scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the squared circle first – “THE BEAST INCARNATE” BROCK LESNAR! It’s now time for the entrance and introduction of his opponent. Making his way to the squared circle next – “THE AMERICAN NIGHTMARE” CODY RHODES! Cody’s mother, Michelle, is shown sitting at ringside. The bell rings to officially begin this one-on-one match between “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes against “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar. My prediction for this match is Cody Rhodes will finally get revenge on Lesnar and be victorious! This match ends when Rhodes nails Lesnar with three Cross Rhodes before pinning him to win the match.
THE WINNER: “THE AMERICAN NIGHTMARE” CODY RHODES…via pinfall
After the match, Lesnar removes his gloves and extends his hand to Rhodes. They shake hands before hugging and then Lesnar raises Rhodes arm before leaving the ring. After Cody exits the ring a few minutes later, he gives his mom a hug.

Back in Ford Field, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles has gotten in the ring. The bell rings to officially begin this Slim Jim WWE SummerSlam Battle Royal. But before any of the action can begin, we hear the voice of MVP. He tells us the Battle Royal cannot begin until the participant who’s going to win it is actually in it. He then introduces his client. Making his way to the squared circle – “THE NIGERIAN GIANT” OMOS! The Battle Royal officially begins even before Omos can make his way to the ring. The rules of a Battle Royal are simple. You are eliminated when you are thrown over-the-top rope and both feet must touch the floor. The last competitor standing is declared the winner. Michael Cole informs us that, as was reported by Variety, there is a WWE commentary shakeup. He and Wade Barrett will move to WWE RAW and Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves will move to WWE SmackDown. However; the SmackDown team will become a three-man team as Cole will also join Patrick and Graves.
At the announcers’ table, Cole and Graves talk about the changes in the commentary teams. Graves congratulates Barrett and Cole and wishes them luck. He adds that three hours on Mondays is a lot to do and he’s excited to get back on the commentary team with Cole on SmackDown. He calls Cole, “Personally, it’s an honor to get back in the booth with the greatest of all-time! I mean that from the bottom of my soul!”
MATCH #4: MMA RULES MATCH – SHAYNA BASZLER v/s “THE BADDEST WOMAN ON THE PLANET” “ROWDY” RONDA ROUSEY
It’s now time for our next singles match. It’s a MMA RULES MATCH! You can only win this match by knockout or tap-out. Making her way to the squared circle first – “THE BADDEST WOMAN ON THE PLANET” “ROWDY” RONDA ROUSEY!
Michael Cole informs us that WWE SummerSlam’23 is presented by Rocket Mortgage and C4 Energy.
Back in the ring, Rousey is awaiting her opponent. It’s now time for the entrance and introduction of her opponent. Making her way to the squared circle – SHAYNA BASZLER! Cole states Rousey has never submitted in World Wrestling Entertainment and Baszler is hoping she can make history tonight and force her former friend to submit for the first time in WWE history.

The WWF Referee orders both female superstars to come to the middle of the ring. He reminds them that this is a MMA Rules Match and is not a WWE sanctioned match. There are no pinfalls, no rope breaks and no count-outs. There are only two ways to win: knockout or submission. He asks both competitors if they understand and they shake their hands in agreement. He tells them to listen to his commands, protect themselves at all times but have a clean fight. Wait a second?! How can you have a MMA Rules Match, where you can basically do whatever you want and not get disqualified but yet have a clean fight? LOL! He closes by saying for them to “touch gloves” if they want but then return to their corners. Rousey holds her glove out but Baszler doesn’t touch her glove and immediately returns to her corner. Cole tells us that during her entire MMA career, Rousey has never offered to touch gloves. The bell rings to officially begin this MMA Rules Match between Shayna Baszler against “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey. During the match, Rousey has a submission hold on Baszler’s arm but Baszler gets to her feet, while Rousey continues to keep her former friend’s arm in the submission hold, and walks over to the ropes before dumping Rousey out of the ring. However; Rousey keeps the submission hold on Baszler’s arm thus bringing Baszler out of the ring as well. When Baszler lands on the floor she screams and when the referee talks to her, she points to her arm. The referee continues to tell her to get in the ring. Baszler gets inside of the ring and sits in the corner while the referee walks over and orders Rousey to stay in her corner but this doesn’t make Rousey happy as she yells “MMA RULES!” at the referee. Two members of the WWE Medical Team enters the ring and just repeatedly asks Shayna if she’s okay and she says stuff to them and points at her arm. Rousey angrily walks over to the medical team and throws them out of the ring. Corey states, “That’s going to cost Ronda some bucks!” Rousey stands in the middle of the ring as Baszler gets to her feet, takes her mouth guard out of her mouth and throws it at Ronda. The match continues as the two female combatants begin to punch it out. This match ends Baszler applies The Kirifuda Clutch on Rousey and Rousey passes out giving Baszler the Technical Submission victory.
THE WINNER: SHAYNA BASZLER…via technical submission

Cole also tells us that it’s been 13 years since McIntyre has been the WWE Intercontinental Champion. It’s now time for the entrance and introduction of his opponent. Ludwig Kaiser makes the ring introduction for the champion. Making his way to the squared circle is the WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION: “THE RING GENERAL” GUNTHER! Cole informs us that Gunther is the longest reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion of the 21st century and is only 32 days from breaking WWE Hall of Famer: The Honky Tonk Man’s record.

MAIN EVENT #2: WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH – SETH”FREAKIN”ROLLINS (WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION) v/s FINN BÁLOR
It’s now time for the second main event of WWE SummerSlam’23! The following match is a singles match, scheduled for one fall, for the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! Making his way to the squared circle first is the challenger – FINN BÁLOR! Finn Bálor is a member of THE JUDGMENT DAY! As Bálor makes his way to the ring, he opens his jacket and shows where he wrote the word “SEVEN” on his right shoulder, which was injured after Seth Rollins powerbombed him at WWE SummerSlam’16 when the two WWE RAW Superstars competed to crown the inaugural WWE Universal Champion. Bálor did indeed win the WWE Universal Championship but due to the injury, he had to relinquish the championship the very next night on WWE RAW. Graves notes that Bálor came to the ring by himself and without NXT North American Champion: “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, Señior Money in the Bank: Damian Priest and the Women’s World Heavyweight Champion: Rhea Ripley. It’s now time for the entrance and introduction of his opponent. Making his way to the squared circle is the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: SETH”FREAKIN”ROLLINS! Once Rollins makes his way to the ringside area, he removes the very long, very big, and very flamboyant robe to reveal the vest that he wore at WWE SummerSlam’16. As the challenger intently stares at the champion, Rollins yells, “DO YOU REMEMBER?! I DIDN’T FORGET EITHER…SON!” The bell rings to officially begin the World Heavyweight Championship Match between Seth”Freakin”Rollins (World Heavyweight Champion) against Finn Bálor after Bálor attacks Rollins from behind. At one point, Señior Money in the Bank: Damian Priest makes his way to the ringside area, while holding the Men’s WWE Money in the Bank briefcase. A few minutes later, Rollins has Bálor on his shoulders but the challenger drops to the mat, possibly thinking about a pin attempt, but the champion sits down and attempts to have his own pin. Bálor kicks out and the kick-out thrusts Rollins towards the side of the ring face the isle-way, which is where Priest is standing. Rollins leaps over the WWE referee and as he lunges towards that side of the ring, Priest punches the champion and as Rollins stumbles towards Bálor, the challenger nails the champion with The Pedigree and covers him for the cover. BUT ROLLINS KICKS OUT! Finn and Damian cannot believe this and Damian even yells out, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!” Priest then walks up the ring steps and starts jumping and waving. Then we see that he obviously was signaling for “Mami” and “Dirty” Dom to come to the ring because a few seconds later, they come to the ringside area through the crowd, as Finn begins to look around – almost as if he doesn’t understand why suddenly The Judgment Day are at ringside. Now remember, this is just my thoughts as he doesn’t say anything. When they arrive, Rhea and Dominik stand on the ring apron and begin distracting the referee. Then Finn stands up, turns and looks at Priest who is on the other side of the ring from Rhea and Dominik. He is obviously yelling something to Finn and slapping his chest and then the briefcase. Finn walks over to Priest and you can hear him saying, “PLAN A! NO! PLAN A!” Finn picks up the briefcase, which prompts Priest to stand up on the ring apron. He asks Priest, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THIS?!” Finn then says he’s not changing the plan and they’re sticking to plan a. He then gives Priest the briefcase. Rollins gets to his feet and runs at Bálor, who moves, thus Rollins hits Priest. Finn attempts to roll Rollins up but Rollins rolls through it, pardon the pun, and nails the challenger with The Stomp. Rollins covers Finn – BUT FINN KICKS OUT! No one can believe that Finn kicked out. Not The Judgment Day! Not Rollins! Not the announcers! Not the WWE Universe! Corey speculates on what happened and says that it looked like Priest was offering the briefcase to Bálor because the referee was tied up with Mysterio and Ripley. Cole asks if maybe Priest was talking about a cash-in? Rollins leaps to the top rope, before “Dirty” Dom jumps on the apron, and leaps off onto Priest. He then kicks Dominik before nailing him with The Stomp! Moments later after Rollins kicks out of The Coup de Grâce, Bálor orders Priest to do something with the briefcase. Priest walks around the ring, places the briefcase in the corner and then continues walking. He gets to the opposite side of the ring and jumps onto the ring apron and begins to distract the referee. As Bálor crawls over to get the briefcase, Rollins nails him with The Stomp onto the briefcase. The match ends when he kicks the briefcase out of the ring, covers the challenger and gets the three count to win the match and retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

After the match, Rollins stares directly at Priest while he’s presented with the World Heavyweight Championship. The referee raises Rollins’ arm in victory.

MAIN EVENT #3: TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR THE WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP – “THE EMPRESS OF TOMORROW” ASUKA (WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT WOMEN’S CHAMPION) v/s “THE EST OF THE WWE” BIANCA BELAIR v/s “THE QUEEN” CHARLOTTE FLAIR
It’s now time for our third main event at WWE SummerSlam’23 and it is sponsored by C4 ENERGY. The match is a singles match scheduled for one fall and it is a TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR THE WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP! Making her way to the squared circle first is the first of two challengers – “THE QUEEN” CHARLOTTE FLAIR! Cole informs us that Charlotte is a 14-time Women’s Champion.
At ringside, Cole and Corey Graves discuss the Triple Threat Match for the WWE Women’s Championship. Cole tells us that Charlotte is 5-0 at WWE SummerSlam and has more wins than any other female Superstar at SummerSlam.
Back in the ring, Flair is awaiting the next participant. It’s now time for the entrance and introduction of the champion. Making her way to the squared circle is the WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT WOMEN’S CHAMPION: “THE EMPRESS OF TOMORROW” ASUKA!

Back in the squared circle, “The Queen” and “The Empress of Tomorrow” are waiting for the third participant. It’s now time for the entrance and introduction of the second challenger. Making her way to the ring is the challenger – “THE EST OF THE WWE” BIANCA BELAIR! The bell rings to officially begin the Triple-Threat Match for the World Wrestling Entertainment Women’s Championship between “The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka (World Wrestling Entertainment Women’s Champion) against “The EST of the WWE” Bianca Belair against “The Queen” Charlotte Flair. During the match, a graphic appears in the lower left corner that says #SummerSlam is trending number one on Twitter in the United States. At one point, Charlotte sends Bianca over-the-top rope and it appears Bianca hits her right knee on the steel steps as she begins to yell and the referee goes to the outside of the ring to check on her. Corey says in respect to Bianca, they need to focus on the competitors in the ring. EMTs arrive at ringside to check on “The EST of the WWE”. The EMTs and medical staff begin to help Bianca to the backstage area. Corey thinks Bianca hit her hands on the steps which makes whatever happened to her knee even worse. As Bianca slowly makes her way from the ringside area, she looks back and sees “The Queen” with The Figure 8 on the champion. Bianca slowly climbs on the ring post and jumps off of the top rope onto Charlotte. This match ends when Charlotte has Bianca in The Figure-8 but as the referee is checking on Bianca and Flair has her head facing the announcers’ side of the ring, Asuka sneaks into the ring and blows the blue mist into Flair’s face. Asuka attempts to hit Bianca, who is still trapped in The Figure-8, but Bianca ducks and rolls Asuka up for the three count to win the match and win the World Wrestling Entertainment Women’s Championship!

After the match, Bianca visibly has trouble standing up to celebrate her victory. Corey notes that he hopes that this isn’t a “Finn Bálor” situation where her knee took so much injury that she’ll have to relinquish the WWE Women’s Championship. Suddenly, the theme song for Damage Control’s IYO SKY begins to play as the WWE Universe goes crazy.
The two members of DAMAGE CTRL, IYO SKY & BAYLEY run down the isle and when they get to ringside, Sky hands Bayley the Women’s WWE Money in the Bank Briefcase. Bayley hits Flair on the head with the briefcase before nailing Asuka in the gut and back with the briefcase. The two Damage Control members enter the ring and Bianca nails Bayley and knocks her down but SKY grabs the briefcase and hits the back of Bianca’s left knee. She proceeds to hit Bianca in the face with the briefcase.
IYO hands the briefcase to the WWE Referee and apparently is cashing-in the Women’s WWE Money in the Bank Briefcase. Wait a second…I thought the champion has to be conscious to have the WWE Money in the Bank briefcase cashed-in on them? Bianca is definitely not conscious! LOL! I could be wrong but I think WWE changes the rules on a daily basis.
MATCH #8: WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH – “THE EST OF THE WWE” BIANCA BELAIR (WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT WOMEN’S CHAMPION) v/s IYO SKY (2023 MISS MONEY IN THE BANK) [with: BAYLEY]
The WWE Referee goes over to Mike Rome and informs him what is going on. Apparently we’re getting not one but TWO WWE Women’s Championship Matches tonight! The following contest is a one-on-one match scheduled for one fall and is for the WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP! Already in the ring is the WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT WOMEN’S CHAMPION – “THE EST OF THE WWE” BIANCA BELAIR! Her opponent is already in the squared circle – 2023 MISS MONEY IN THE BANK: IYO SKY! The bell rings to officially begin this WWE Women’s Championship Match between “The EST of the WWE” Bianca Belair (WWE Women’s Champion) against 2023 Miss Money in the Bank: IYO SKY. And with the sound of that bell, IYO SKY has cashed in her Women’s WWE Money in the Bank briefcase! This match ends when SKY nails The Over The Moonsault on Belair before pinning her to win this match and win the WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP!

After the match, and as the new WWE Women’s Champion: IYO SKY is celebrating her victory with Bayley, their Damage Control stablemate, DAKOTA KAI enters the ring and hugs Sky and Bayley. Cole notes that Dakota has been injured but came to WWE SummerSlam’23 so she can celebrate her friend’s and stablemate’s victory. Corey tells us that at WWE SummerSlam’22, Damage Control debuted and then just one year later, they’re celebrating IYO SKY’s victory as WWE Women’s Champion at WWE SummerSlam’23!

It’s now time for the FOURTH AND FINAL MAIN EVENT OF WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT SUMMERSLAM’23! The following one-on-one match is scheduled for one fall and it is TRIBAL CONTEST FOR THE UNDISPUTED WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP! First, making his way to the squared circle is the challenger – “MAIN EVENT” JEY USO! It’s now time for the entrance and introduction of his opponent. Making his way to the squared circle, he is the UNDISPUTED WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT UNIVERSAL CHAMPION – “THE TRIBAL CHIEF” ROMAN REIGNS! Reigns is accompanied to the ring by “THE WISE MAN” PAUL HEYMAN! Once Reigns and Heyman are in the ring, Heyman hands the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion the microphone before Reigns tells SummerSlam to acknowledge him. Mike Rome makes the ring introductions for both the champion and challenger once they’re in the squared circle. The bell rings to begin Tribal Combat for the Undisputed World Wrestling Entertainment Universal Championship between Undisputed World Wrestling Entertainment Universal Champion: “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns [with: “The Wise Man” Paul Heyman] against “Main Event” Jey Uso. During the match, Uso and Reigns are fighting in the crowd when suddenly Solo Sikoa appears and attacks Uso. A few minutes later when Solo and Reigns sets Uso up for a Samoan Spike Spear, Uso moves and “The Tribal Chief” spears Sikoa. Later, Jey nails Roman with a spear and follows it up with.an Uso Splash before covering the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. But before the referee can make the three count, someone dressed in black pulls Jey out of the ring. The individual has his back to the camera and is wearing a hoodie. He slowly removes the hoodie to reveal his identity – JIMMY USO! Jimmy stares at his identical twin brother as Jey is on his knees looking up at him and asking him why. Then Jimmy superkicks Jey before returning to the backstage area. This match ends when Roman spears Jey through a table before pinning him to win the match and retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
