IMPACT! Wrestling Announces “Major Surprise” for Spring Slugfest

There is no IMPACT! Wrestling pay-per-view or special broadcast on IMPACT! Plus this Friday, April 28, 2023 or this Saturday, April 29, 2023 but if you are in the Chicago, Illinois area you will want to get your tickets to IMPACT! Wrestling Slugfest!
IMPACT! Wrestling announced yesterday that “A MAJOR SURPRISE” is scheduled for the April 28th show. At this point, WU Online has no idea what this surprise is but it definitely has our ears perked like ears on a kitten!
In addition to that, two big tag team matches have been announced for the same evening. Bhupinder Gujjar will team up with Yuya Uemura as they face “The Wrestling God” Moose and his tag team partner – “The Most Professional Wrestler” Brian Myers. The other big tag team match that was announced for Spring Slugfest Night 1 features IMPACT Knockouts World Champion: “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo and “The Juggernaut” Jordynne Grace teaming up to face current IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions: The Coven (KiLynn King and “The Wilde Witch” Taylor Wilde).
And on Saturday, April 29th, Spring Slugfest Night 2 will feature a preview of IMPACT! Wrestling Under Siege 2023 as PCO will go one-on-one with the IMPACT World Champion: Steve Maclin!
As of this writing, it is not known whether the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship and the IMPACT World Championship will be on the line in their respective matches or if these are non-title matches. WU Online is awaiting to hear back from IMPACT! Wrestling and as soon as we do, we’ll pass the details on to you.
Also scheduled to appear are: Bully Ray, Eddie Edwards, Frankie Kazarian, IMPACT Digital Media Champion: Joe Hendry, IMPACT X Division Champion: Trey Miguel, Jody Threat, Killer Kelly, Masha Slamovich, Rosemary, The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley), Tommy Dreamer and more.
