Inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, WWE commentator Michael Cole welcomes us to WWE Elimination Chamber 2013. The Bell Centre is sold out as 17,271 members of the WWE Universe are in attendance. At ringside, Cole and WWE RAW commentator Corey Graves discuss tonight’s WWE premium live event.
MATCH #1: ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH TO DETERMINE THE CHALLENGER FOR THE WWE RAW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP AT WWE WRESTLEMANIA 39 – “THE EMPRESS OF TOMORROW” ASUKA v/s “THE PRINCESS OF STATEN ISLAND” CARMELLA v/s RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ v/s NIKKI CROSS v/s NATALYA v/s LIV MORGAN
It’s time for our first match of the night. This match is the Elimination Chamber Match to determine who will challenge WWE RAW Women’s Champion: “The EST of the WWE” Bianca Belair for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship at WWE WrestleMania 39. The rules of the Elimination Chamber Match are as follows: two WWE Superstars will begin the match with the remaining four superstars being locked inside of pods. At regularly scheduled intervals, a pod door will open at random, allowing another superstar to join the match. This process will continue until all pods are emptied. If at any time a superstar is pinned or submits, she is eliminated and must exit the Elimination Chamber. This will continue until one superstar is left standing and she will be the one to challenge Belair for the championship at WrestleMania. The first competitor to make her way to the squared circle is “THE EMPRESS OF TOMORROW” ASUKA! This is Asuka’s second appearance inside of the Elimination Chamber. Cole reminds us that this is the second time in WWE history that the Elimination Chamber will determine the challenger for the RAW Women’s Championship. It’s time for the next participant’s entrance. Making her way to the ring is “THE PRINCESS OF STATEN ISLAND” CARMELLA! Carmella will be participating in the Elimination Chamber for the second time. It’s time for the third competitor’s entrance. Making her way to the Elimination Chamber is RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ! This is Raquel’s first time competing inside the Elimination Chamber. It’s time for the fourth competitor to make her way to the squared circle. Making her way to the ring next is NIKKI CROSS! This is Nikki’s second time inside the Elimination Chamber. All four pods are occupied so the next two competitors will begin the match. Making her way to the ring Elimination Chamber is NATALYA! It’s now time for the entrance of the final competitor. Making her way to the Elimination Chamber – LIV MORGAN! This is Morgan’s fourth time competing in an Elimination Chamber Match. The bell rings to officially begin this match. The Triple-Threat Match has now turned into a Fatal Four-Way Match between Natalya, Morgan, Rodriguez and Nikki Cross. It’s now time for the next competitor to enter the match…5…4…3…2…1…”THE PRINCESS OF STATEN ISLAND” CARMELLA! The Fatal Four-Way Match has now evolved into a Five-Way Match between Natalya, Morgan, Rodriguez, Cross and Carmella. Rodriguez pins Cross to eliminate her. The Five-Way Match has de-evolved back to a Fatal Four-Way Match between Natalya, Morgan, Rodriguez and Carmella. It’s time for the next participant to enter the match…5…4…3…2…1…”THE EMPRESS OF TOMORROW” ASUKA! The Fatal Four-Way Match has once again evolved into a Five-Way Match between Natalya, Morgan, Rodriguez, Carmella and Asuka. All the participants have entered the match and there has only been one elimination. Morgan is eliminated from the match after Natalya applies The Sharpshooter and Asuka applies an arm-bar on her at the same time before she passes out. The Five-Way Match has once again de-evolved to a Fatal Four-Way Match between Natalya, Rodriguez, Carmella and Asuka. Natalya is eliminated after Carmella superkicks her and pins her. The Fatal Four-Way Match has now de-evolved into a Triple-Threat Match between Rodriguez, Carmella and Asuka. Rodriguez is eliminated when Carmella and Asuka double-team her with superkicks and enzuigiris before both women covering her to produce her exit. The Triple-Threat Match has now de-evolved into a Singles Match between Carmella and Asuka. The match ends when Asuka applies The Asuka Lock on Carmella and forces her to submit. Asuka will now challenge WWE RAW Women’s Champion: “The EST of the WWE” Bianca Belair for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship at WWE WrestleMania 39 in six weeks!

MATCH #2: “THE BEAST INCARNATE” BROCK LESNAR v/s “THE ALL MIGHTY” BOBBY LASHLEY
It’s time for our next match. Making his way to the squared circle first is – “THE ALL MIGHTY” BOBBY LASHLEY! It’s now time for his opponent. Making his way to the ring – “THE BEAST INCARNATE” BROCK LESNAR! The bell rings to officially begin this singles match between “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar against “The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley. This match ends when Lashley has Lesnar in The Hurt Lock and Lesnar deliberately kicks Lashley low, causing the referee to disqualify him.
THE WINNER: “THE ALL MIGHTY” BOBBY LASHLEY via a disqualification
After the match, Lesnar F-5s WWE Referee: Chad Patton and Lashley. Lesnar pushes Lashley out of the ring, exits the ring himself and removes the top of the announce table before hitting Lashley with another F-5 on the table, causing the table to collapse. Lesnar pulls Patton out of the ring and F-5s Patton for a second time on the remains of the announce table. Lesnar then exits the ringside area with a smile on his face.

They are accompanied to the ring by DOMINIC MYSTERIO! Bálor, Ripley and Dominic represent THE JUDGMENT DAY! It’s time for their opponents’ entrance. Making their way to the ring are THE GRIT COUPLE! The Grit Couple are WWE HALL OF FAMERS: “THE RATED R SUPERSTAR” EDGE & “THE GLAMAZON” BETH PHOENIX! Cole tells us that it’s been almost 17 years since the last time Edge has wrestled in Montreal. Graves tells us that Beth Phoenix is paying tribute to former WWE Women’s Champion: Bull Nakano with her makeup. The bell rings to officially begin this Mixed Tag Team Match. It will be Edge and Finn Bálor starting the match first for their respective tag teams. This match ends when The Grit Couple hits The Shattered Machine on Bálor before Edge pins Finn to get the victory for the Hall of Fame couple.

Backstage, “The Wise Man” Paul Heyman tells Undisputed WWE Universal Champion: “The Head of the Table” and “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns that tonight Montreal becomes his city not Sami Zayn’s.

MATCH #4: ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH FOR THE WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP – “THE NOW” AUSTIN THEORY (WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPION) v/s “JOHNNY WRESTLING” JOHNNY GARGANO v/s BRONSON REED v/s DAMIAN PRIEST v/s MONTEZ FORD v/s SETH”FREAKIN'”ROLLINS
Our next match is the second ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH and it is for the WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP! The rules for this match are as follows: two WWE Superstars will begin the match with the remaining four being enclosed in pods. At regularly scheduled intervals, a pod door will open at random, allowing another superstar to join the match. This process will continue until all pods are emptied of superstars. If at any time a superstar is either pinned or submits, he is eliminated from the match and must exit the chamber. This will continue until only one superstar is remaining and left standing as the WWE United States Champion! The first participant to make his way to the ring and into a pod is the WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPION – “THE NOW” AUSTIN THEORY! This is Theory’s second time competing inside of the Elimination Chamber but the first time the WWE U.S. CHAMPIONSHIP will be defended inside of an Elimination Chamber. The next participant to make his way to the ring and into a pod is – MONTEZ FORD! This is the first time Ford will compete in an Elimination Chamber Match. Graves informs us that Ford has said if he wins the WWE U.S. Championship tonight, he will give his Street Profits tag team partner – Angelo Dawkins – the very first title match. Cole adds that he also stated he’ll call the U.S. Championship the US Championship because it’s about the WWE family and he wants to represent that as champion. The next participant to make his way to the ring and into a pod is – BRONSON REED! Reed is competing in the Elimination Chamber Match for the first time. The next participant to make his way to the ring and into a pod is – DAMIAN PRIEST! Priest is competing in an Elimination Chamber Match for the first time. The next two participants who come to the ring will begin the match against each other. Making his way to the squared circle next is “JOHNNY WRESTLING” JOHNNY GARGANO! Gargano is competing in the Elimination Chamber for the first time. Making his way to the ring next is SETH”FREAKIN'”ROLLINS! Rollins is competing in his third Elimination Chamber Match. Trending #1 on Twitter in the United States is #WWEChamber. The bell rings to officially begin this match. The next participant to join the match is…5…4…3…2…1…WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPION: “THE NOW” AUSTIN THEORY! This match is now a Triple-Threat Match between Gargano, Rollins, and Austin Theory. The next participant to join the match is…5…4…3…2…1…DAMIAN PRIEST! This match is now a Fatal Four-Way Match between Gargano, Rollins, Theory and Damian Priest. The next participant to join the match is…5…4…3…2…1…BRONSON REED! This match has now evolved into a Five-Way Match between Gargano, Rollins, Theory, Priest and Bronson Reed. The next participant to join the match is…5…4…3…2…1…MONTEZ FORD! All six competitors are inside the Elimination Chamber and there have been no eliminations. Ford pins Reed to eliminate him. This match has now de-evolved into a Five-Way Match between Gargano, Rollins, Theory, Priest and Ford. Trending #1 on Twitter in the United States is #WWEChamber. Priest nails Gargano with the Razor’s Edge before pinning him to eliminate Johnny Wrestling. This is now a Fatal Four-Way Match between Rollins, Theory, Priest and Ford. Ford nails Priest with a Blockbuster from the top rope before pinning and eliminating him. This Fatal Four-Way Match has de-evolved to a Triple-Threat Match between Rollins, Theory and Ford. Ford is eliminated when Rollins nails him with The Stomp on the outside of the ring and Theory pulls Ford into the ring to pin him. This is now a singles match between Theory and Rollins. Two referees and two WWE officials enter the ring and assist Ford who appears to have suffered a medical issue after being nailed with The Stomp. On his way out of the ring, he falls on the stairs. The match ends when in all of the confusion with Ford’s medical issues, Logan Paul enters the ring and nails Rollins with a clothesline and a stomp. Paul exits the chamber and closes the door. Theory then nails Rollins with the A-Town Down before pinning Rollins to win the match and retain the WWE U.S. Championship.

It’s the match we’ve all been waiting for! It’s the moment Montreal has been waiting for! It’s time for the MAIN EVENT! Making his way to the squared circle first is the current UNDISPUTED WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPION – “THE HEAD OF THE TABLE” AND “THE TRIBAL CHIEF” ROMAN REIGNS! He is accompanied to the ring by “THE WISEMAN” PAUL HEYMAN! Cole informs us that Roman has been Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for 902 days and he hasn’t been pinned since December of 2019. The WWE Universe is booing so loud you can barely hear Reigns’ theme song. It’s now time for his opponent and the hometown boy! Making his way to the squared circle next is the challenger – SAMI ZAYN! Sami comes to the ring to an arena chanting and cheering for him. Once at ringside, Sami walks over and hugs his wife. Trending #1 in the United States right now on Twitter is #WWEChamber. The bell rings to officially begin this match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship between Sami Zayn and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion: “The Head of the Table” and “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns. During the match, Zayn attempted to hit Reigns with the Blue Thunder Bomb but Reigns counters the move by ramming the challenger backwards into the corner which is where WWE Referee Dan Engler is located at – causing Zayn to collide with Engler and knocking the referee out. Moments later, ½ of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions: Jimmy Uso runs into the ring and nails the challenger with several superkicks before hitting Zayn with The Uso Splash. He pulls Reigns on top of the challenger and exits the ring as WWE Referee Ryan Tran enters the ring and begins to make the count but Zayn kicks out at two. Trending #1 on Twitter in the United States is #WWEChamber. Later on in the match, Reigns attempts to hit Sayn with the Superman Punch but the challenger moves and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion nails Tran with the Superman Punch. Tran is knocked out and now both referees are on the ringside floor. Reigns tells Heyman to get him a chair and he does but when Reigns turns around, Jey Uso is now inside the ring and is standing in front of the champion. Reigns tells his cousin it’s either him or Sami Zayn. He then holds the chair for Jey to take. With the chair pressing against his chest, Jey takes it and stands like he’s going to hit Roman with the chair. Roman begins to tell Jey to hit the challenger. He takes the chair and begins to pie face his cousin several times. He turns around in time to see Sami running towards him but moves and Sami spears Jey Uso instead. Reigns nails Sami with the chair several times. Roman hits Sami with the spear and the original referee makes it into the ring in time to make the three count. Roman Reigns pops the bubble and dreams of not only Sami Zayn but Montreal, Quebec, Canada and remains the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for over 902 days and counting.
THE WINNER: STILL UNDISPUTED WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPION – “THE HEAD OF THE TABLE” AND “THE TRIBAL CHIEF” ROMAN REIGNS via pinfall
After the match, Jimmy Uso reenters the ring and his cousin orders him to teach Sami Zayn a lesson. Jimmy begins to punch Sami until the theme song of “K.O.” begins to play as “THE PRIZE FIGHTER” KEVIN OWENS enters the Bell Centre. Jimmy exits the ring and meets Owens half-way from the ring. Kevin begins to punch Jimmy and tosses him into the security barricade. “The Prize Fighter” enters the ring and takes Roman to the mat with several punches before the two get back to their feet. Owens nails Reigns with the Stone Cold Stunner. Jimmy re-enters the ring, swings at Kevin but misses and gets hit with the Stone Cold Stunner from The Prize Fighter. The momentum of the Stunner knocks Uso out of the ring. Owens follows Uso outside of the ring and nails him with a Pop-Up Powerbomb through the commentator’s table. Owens grabs a chair and enters the ring but is followed by Paul Heyman who begins to hit the back of K.O. Owens appears to be considering to hit Heyman with the chair so The Wise Man begins to beg for his life. His begging doesn’t help him and he is hit with a Stone Cold Stunner from K.O. At this point, Zayn has stood up and is in the corner behind Kevin. Roman is on his feet in the corner in front of Kevin. Kevin looks at Sami and takes a few steps to the right. Sami nails Roman with The Helluva Kick. Sami looks at Kevin who exits the ring. Roman rolls out of of the ring as well. Owens walks to the other side of the ringside area and stares at Zayn who looks at Kevin. Kevin begins to walk back to the locker room entrance while staring at Sami who looks back at K.O.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 comes to a close as Montreal’s own, a dejected Sami Zayn, looks at his family and his fans.
